Pimpernel hosts the Lossless Label Showcase — built around the Berlin label run by Thomas Herb and Mathias Schober since 2014. Eleven years in, Lossless isn’t just a roster, it’s a tribe. A tight-knit collective shaped by craft, instinct, and a slow-burn evolution that never chases trends. This time the showcase comes home to us, headlined by Jepe.

JEPE — Headliner

João Silva, known to the floor as Jepe, is a Berlin-based producer, DJ, label owner, and mix engineer originally from Portugal. After cutting his teeth as one half of Johnwaynes, he built a solo catalogue across Diynamic, Moodmusic, Multinotes, Isolate, Engraved Ltd, and Lossless — deep, atmospheric, unmistakably his own. He also runs Eastern Standard and works as a mix engineer at Berlin’s Blackhead Studios. Tonight he plays on Lossless’s home turf, joined by the label’s own Thomas Herb and Sonson.

THOMAS HERB — Support

One half of the label, all the way through the night. Thomas Herb blends soul-soaked house, techno, and disco into sets built for immersion, not interruption. His résumé runs through Watergate, Sisyphos, Gewölbe, Zukunft, Batofar, Lux Frágil, and Brooklyn Mirage — shoulder to shoulder with names like Dixon, Âme, Carl Craig, and Move D. Beyond the booth, he co-runs Lossless with Mathias Schober and produces as one half of SBTH.

SONSON — Support

Michael Heumann’s project, rooted in Munich, raised on early-2000s US house. Resident at Pimpernel since 2017 and its booker since 2024, Sonson knows this room better than almost anyone — and it shows in every set. His productions live on Diynamic, Aprapta, Barré Music, and Lossless; his edits, ranging from Depeche Mode to Kendrick Lamar, get played out by Solomun, Dixon, and Trikk.
