He places a strong emphasis on collaborating with local DJs and producers to enrich the Munich scene and present fresh\, exciting line-ups. \nAs a producer\, Sonson has already celebrated several successes. His tracks have been released on labels such as Diynamic\, Aprapta\, andBarré Music\, and in early 2025\, an EP will be released on the renowned Munich labelCompost Records. He is also known for his edits of artists like Depeche Mode\,Billie Eilish\, Kendrick Lamar\, and Everything But the Girl. From 2005 on he got his first gigs and quickly became a household name for his ambitious and subtly grooving DJ sets. \nHouse in all its facets\nBut Thomas wanted to dive even deeper into his favorite music and leave his own traces. That’s why he started producing his own tracks which were very well received. They became residents at another Munich institution – the event label Bavarian Fetish for which they perform until today. Since then\, regular gigs in various recognized clubs and cities have become a part of their life\, which only increased their hunger to give the crowd – kinky or not – what it needs to go wild. \nIn 2023 Tofu and Acid spent the summer in Sardinia where they proved their ability to entertain with afro house and bohemian techno as residents in a luxury beach club. But DJing has not been their only ambition. Since the beginning of their career the couple knew that they wanted to produce their own music. When partnering up with the Munich based record label Exit-Scam-Records in 2023 Tofu and Acid made a crucial step towards fulfilling this goal and they eventually released their first record. “Wait For You” on October 4th 2024 which is a vivid composition of indie dance\, melodic techno and deep house. \nWith their signature of deep baselines\, timeless synthesizer sounds and catchy vocals\, often combined with organic and ethno elements\, these two set unmistakable accents in their compositions.
