Niko S (Super Party Records)
Niko S. is a passionate vinyl lover, label owner and analog studio operator based in munich. Starting about 10 years ago playing around with Ableton for the first time the journey through electronic music never stoped since. From organizing a party series called „Die Küche“ unearthing Karlsruhe‘s off-locations to co-founding the radio collective „gewaechshouse“ as well as the Austrian music festival „Ernte“ the joy of experiencing music never slowed down. With a strong focus from mids 90s to early 00s house his interest spreads far into alls electronic genres from tech and progressive house to breaks, free jazz, trance and many more.In 2020 Niko S. brought his long lasting dream of releasing music on vinyl into reality. The label project „super party records“ was born with there lease of SPR001 – „it‘s a party“. The label’s goal is to release music of friends and family to contribute to an enthusiast community. WithSPR002 in the making and tracks being released on Etunang Records and PWRLDR soon it‘ll be exciting to see whats next to come.
Niko S. ist ein leidenschaftlicher Vinyl-Liebhaber, Labelbesitzer und analoger Studio-Operator mit Sitz in München. Seit etwa 11 Jahren, als er zum ersten Mal mit Ableton herumspielte, hat die Reise durch die elektronische Musik nie
aufgehört. Vom Organisieren einer Partyreihe namens „Die Küche“, der Entdeckung von Off-Locations in Karlsruhe, der Mitbegründung des Radiokollektivs „gewaechshouse“ sowie des österreichischen Musikfestivals „Ernte“ hat sich die Freude am Erleben elektronischer Musik nie verlangsamt. Mit einem starken Fokus von den mittleren 90ern bis Anfang der 00er Jahre auf House erstreckt sich sein Interesse auf alle elektronischen Genres, von Tech- und Progressive House über Breaks, Free Jazz, Trance und viele mehr. Im Jahr 2020 verwirklichte Niko S. seinen langjährigen Traum, Musik auf Vinyl zu veröffentlichen. Das Label-Projekt „super party records“ wurde mit der Veröffentlichung von SPR001 – „it’s a party“ geboren. Das Ziel des Labels ist es, Musik von Freunden und Familie zu veröffentlichen, um zur Enthusiasten-Community beizutragen. Mit SPR002 „super action“, das im März 2023 veröffentlicht wurde und weitere Veröffentlichungen, die bald auf Etunang Records und PWRLDR geplant sind, wird es aufregend sein zu sehen, was als Nächstes kommt.
